How it works

Start with the constraint. Ship something people actually use.

No twelve-week strategy deck. We map how the work moves today, pick the workflow with the clearest business case, and build it into production with your team.

The process

Four phases. Each one ends with something real.

01

Assess

Interviews, a systems walkthrough, and a look at where work actually stalls. No tooling decisions yet.

You getA ranked opportunity map
02

Design

Pick one workflow. Define the inputs, the guardrails, the review points, and what good output looks like.

You getA workflow blueprint
03

Build

Connect the systems, build the workflow or assistant, and test it against real work with the people who do it.

You getA working system in production
04

Adopt

Train the team, document the process, name an owner, and set the checkpoints for improving it.

The AI Opportunity Assessment

A short, focused engagement that answers one question: where in this business does AI change the numbers, and what should be built first?

Interviews with the people doing the work, a walk through the systems you already pay for, and a ranked list of workflows with the effort and the payoff attached.

Deliverables
A map of how the work moves today, in plain language
A ranked list of workflows worth changing, with effort and payoff
The tools you already pay for and whether they are earning it
A recommended first build, scoped and priced
What to leave alone, and why
Engagement models

Common questions

What people ask before they start.

How long before we see anything working?

The assessment is measured in weeks, not quarters. The first build lands after it, and it goes into real use rather than a demo environment.

Do we need to buy new software?

Usually not. Most of the work runs on systems you already pay for. If something new is genuinely required, it gets justified against the workflow it fixes.

What about our data and permissions?

Existing permissions are respected, not bypassed. Answers link back to the original source so anyone can check the work.

What if AI is not the answer?

Then that is the recommendation. Sometimes the fix is process or people, and saying so is more useful than shipping a tool nobody needs.

Who does the work?

Matt Chimes, directly. Not a bench of juniors on a rotating engagement.
